We’re delighted to welcome Orli Meiksin and Jeroen Van Weelden to Craft Prospect, and Ty Fitzgerald to our sister company Omanos Analytics, as part of the UK Space Agency’s Skills for Space internship programme!
Orli joins our Systems Integration Cell as a Hardware Intern, working on test equipment to help improve in-house PCB testing and debug capabilities. She is going into her final year of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Glasgow and is looking forward to developing her electronics skills while exploring a future career in space engineering.
Jeroen joins us as a Space Systems Quality and Manufacturing Intern, supporting the team through the development of a part-tracking and classification database. As a Chemical Physics student at the The University of Edinburgh with a strong interest in systems engineering, he is already enjoying hands-on experience across various projects, products, and components at Craft.
Ty joins Omanos Analytics as an R&D Web Developer, working on a proof-of-concept demonstration of AI improvement cycle infrastructure for Omanos web and smartphone systems. A Computer Science student at Edge Hill University, Ty is interested in data analysis and artificial intelligence, and is excited about the practical R&D experience he’ll gain while working with us.
It’s brilliant to have all three on board for the rest of the summer. Welcome to the team, Orli, Jeroen, and Ty!
