Craft Prospect was proud to attend Insider Media’s Made in Scotland Awards 2026 at voco Grand Central Glasgow on Thursday 8 October, following our shortlisting in three award categories.

The awards celebrate excellence across Scottish manufacturing, business, and innovation, recognising the companies and people helping drive the sector forward.

Craft Prospect was shortlisted for:

·       Engineering Manufacturer of the Year – Craft Prospect

·       Engineer/Leader of the Year – Steve Greenland, Managing Director

·       Product Innovation of the Year – OPS-SAT VOLT

The triple shortlisting was a proud achievement for the whole Craft Crew, recognising our continued growth, technical ambition, and engineer-led approach to developing advanced space technologies from Scotland.

Representing Craft Prospect on the evening were Managing Director Steve Greenland, Independent Chair of the Board Yvette Hopkins, Head of Operations John Charlick, Strategic Projects Lead Sandy Proven, Systems Engineers Colin Aitken and Lauryn Atkinson, Software Systems Engineer Ahren McTaggart, and Sales Engineer Rory Ireland.

We were also delighted to welcome Pamela Smith from AAC Clyde Space and Daniel Oi from the University of Strathclyde as our guests for the evening.

While we didn’t take home an award this time, being shortlisted across three very different categories was recognition we were extremely proud of: from Steve’s leadership in growing Craft Prospect, to the technical ambition behind OPS-SAT VOLT, and the strength of the wider team delivering our work.

Congratulations to all of this year’s finalists and winners. It was fantastic to see so much Scottish engineering, manufacturing, and innovation celebrated in one room.

A big thank you to Insider Media for bringing the event together, and to the 2026 award sponsors National Manufacturing Institute Scotland, NT Engineering & Manufacturing, and Maggie’s Centres for supporting and celebrating Scotland’s manufacturing community.
